The Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce was organized as a volunteer organization in July of 2000 by a group of Anderson business people who are committed to being a positive force in the growth of the local area.
Mission Statement:
"The Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce is organized to advance the welfare and prosperity of the Anderson Area so that its citizens and all areas of business community shall prosper. All necessary means of promotion shall be provided and particular attention and emphasis shall be given to the economic, civic, commercial, cultural, industrial, and educational interests of the area."
